Description

This Velociraptor Toenail (Type A) originates from a production-made Velociraptor prop used in Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park. One of the film’s most suspenseful moments features a Velociraptor attacking Dr. Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern) as she attempts to manually restore power to Jurassic Park’s electrical system.

The original Velociraptor foot claw set consisted of four individually sculpted resin claws: the signature Attack Claw, Toenail Type A, Toenail Type B, and the Dewclaw. Each claw was meticulously hand-painted in natural shades of brown and black to create a lifelike appearance. The original claws used in the film were designed and sculpted by legendary special effects artist Rob Hinderstein.

Elite Creature Collectibles is proud to present the Velociraptor Toenail Prop Reproduction – Type A as part of our growing Jurassic Park movie prop collection. Cast directly from the original production mold, each reproduction has been carefully restored, retouched, and hand-painted by ECC key artist Oskar Ankarudd. Every surface texture, weathered detail, and paint application has been faithfully recreated to match the original screen-used prop. Displayed on a prop auction-style acrylic base, the removable claw captures the presentation of an authentic film artifact.
